Common questions
›What is the difference between LdL and LdU?
LdL means the lid will not lock. LdU means it will not unlock, often because something is sitting on the lid.
›Can I run my Maytag washer with a broken lid lock?
No. The washer will not agitate or spin until the lid locks. The lock is a safety device and should be replaced, not bypassed.
