Haier air conditioner error codes

Haier washers use two sets of codes: newer front-loaders show Err codes such as Err1 or Err2, while top-loaders and older models show short codes like E1 or FA. Haier air conditioners show E codes for indoor-unit faults and F codes for outdoor-unit faults, and FL on portables when the water tank is full. The same code can mean different things on different appliances, so match the code and appliance exactly.

CodeWhat it means
E1Temperature sensor fault (split and portable)
E2Temperature sensor fault (split and portable)
E5Indoor coil anti-freeze protection (split)
E7Indoor/outdoor communication fault (split)
E9Overload in heating mode (split)
