GE washer dE code: lid open (top-load)

The lid was opened, so the washer paused. GE says the code flashes for about 30 seconds before the washer shuts off. Close the lid and restart.

How to fix the dE code

   Close the lid fully. Make sure nothing is caught under it or sitting on the edge of the tub.

   Press Start/Pause. If the washer has already shut off, choose the cycle again and press Start.
