How to fix the CI code
Step 1: Empty the ice bin
Remove the bin, break up or throw out any clumped ice, and put the bin back so it seats fully.
Step 2: Check the water supply
Make sure the shutoff valve to the fridge is fully open and the water line is not kinked when you push the fridge back.
Step 3: Set the feeler arm
If no water is hooked up, or you do not want ice, raise the icemaker feeler arm to the STOP (up) position or turn the icemaker off.
Step 4: Clear the code
Press System Check or Reset. The code also stops once the problem is fixed.

Common questions
›Why does CI show if I never hooked up water?
The icemaker is trying to fill. Raise the feeler arm to STOP or turn the icemaker off and the code should stop.
›Does CI affect cooling?
No. It only concerns the icemaker. The fridge and freezer keep cooling normally.
